"I Pity the Fool" Window Security Grate

After a rash of break-ins around her Lake Merritt neighborhood, one of our Crucible collaborators asked Just Fine to build a security grate around her basement window. A quick job yes, a git 'er done type situation, but well built and strong. I pity the fool who tries to break into her house!! Materials: scrap steel.

verruckt is a photography show featuring work by Just Fine collaborator Libi Kunst (she designed our amazing business cards). Libi hired Just Fine to make eight custom frames and we are delivering these wood & metal beauties on this rainy Tuesday. The wood was walnut, plyboo, cedar, and plywood; metal was copper and steel. We had a lot of fun putting them together and definitely learned a lot (as usual for us). Much respect due to all the professional framers out there, you have a tough job (maybe you could teach us a few of your tricks).
